i have a question for some of the experienced guys, im actually pretty educated with bbing, but when it comes to steriods-not so much..my brother has a pec fiber tear? its an odd thing that bothers him...its on the inside/upper part of his pec, and has been bothering him for months now...he has seeked out medical attention, but they have only given him inflamatory pills..he told me that hes done "lots of research" and is convinced that a cycle of steriods would help...now i know that it does help with certain joint issues, right? but his condition is related to the muscles. i think its just an excuse to gain size, he knows that im against steriod use, so my opinion isnt valid in his mind...what do you think?

What grade is his injury (1,2, or 3 full tear)? I assume it is probably a 1 or 2 because the doctor would have recommended surgery for a 3. It will take a long time to recover (likely several months). I would recommend rest, immobilization, ice, and heat. You never want to rush recovery from an injury. I would stay off the juice though. Good luck.

As long as the person isn't rushing the dosing of their AAS or getting into it too soon. AAS usually prevents more injuries than it causes.

I would recomend that he run a low dose. 250mg ew and get on some IGF-1 or HGH if the wallet allows.

I agree, my concern would be if the injury hasn't healed, how is he going to lift when he cycles. If you think he is justifying taking gear to help recovery and really just wants to juice, id worry he wont injure himself farther by not taking it easy until it heals completely. In his case, I think it would be best to recover, and then suck it up and juice because hes an adult who has the right to make decisions for himself. Bad timing and not the right reason. Good looking out for your brother btw. Thats cool of u.

well, hes always been pretty sloppy with his training, not that im knocking him for it, but he has the genetics to be a monster(and he was for a short time)..it seems like he'll only workout for a couple months and just get huge and take in high cals for awhile each to his own. my biggest concern is the group of dudes he runs around with are uneducated, young juicers, i dont want him to hurt himself just so he doesnt have to workout as much...i know some of his friends take oral dbol and dont even use any type of liver pills, i dont know alot, but thats dumb...and he says 1 cycle is all he'll do, i dont buy that shit for 1 second tho-they all say that, UNTIL they start losing muscle...i dont know man
