I believe aspirate means to pull back on the plunger (Dont' know the actual name) so you can see if any blood comes into the syrenge. If there is blood you're not suppose to inject because you might be in a vein and shooting steroids directing into your vein can be leathal. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
