Some guys actually buy this defense for Barry Bonds, that steroids were not technically illegal in baseball. But if you are going to follow that line of reasoning...it is not against the rules of baseball to shoot the runner on third instead of tagging him out, but I men hey it is against the laws of the United States.

I think it depends on the sport. Steroids are a large part of sports like World's Strongest Man and Bodybuilding. I have nothing against people who use it in sports where it is commonplace and in fact often expected. But in sports like those in the olympics or even NHL, MLB, NFL, and NBA the use of steroids should just be left out of it.

As long as your allowed to do it, that's fine with me, more the better ha ha. But if against the rules then it's cheating.

I bet that guy has diabetes. I'm sure he wouldn't do that right in the middle of a game if it wasn't legal.

if everyone is using then its a level playing field but if it's in sports where some guys do and some guys don't then thats a whole different story.

I would tend to lead towards no steroids anywhere however because although they maybe not explicitly be banned from the sport, they are illegal in the United States and I think when the country's law comes second to the sports there is a major problem with that.

Oh that's right OB because i know the guy right? I know his name, the team he plays for, his stats, his family history... oh no wait that's right i couldn't care less about basketball. This guy could possibly the best basketball player ever and i would have absolutely no idea. Yet it's implied that i know the guy has diabetes. I guess its assumed whenever I see any person who I've never even heard of or met before using any type of prescription drug i should know exactly what disease or illness he is suffering from. No, good call though, really. Because after all there are no other illnesses besides diabetes that involve self injectable drugs. Oh no wait a second, yes there are. For psoriasis, blood clots, possibly trying to battle acromegaly after all a lot basketball players do have hereditary hgh problems which lead to their abnormal heights. Epipens for severe allergies although those don't go through the stomach. But hey i forgot you were a doctor and can diagnose the illness of any person simply by looking at a picture of them taking their medication.

So how much time did you spend on the internet looking for all those allergies and sicknesses? Good research. Looks like you have alot to do with your summer. Maybe if you stopped looking at oiled up huge men in tiny thongs and opened your eyes to an actual sport, like basketball then maybe you would know that was gonzaga's star player. But hey why watch an athlete when you can just fake it with oil, tan and steroids.
