I'll try and keep this short, but I'm having a hard time keeping my weight up.

I wasn't sure where to post this but....

I was 165lbs at 6' 5 years ago when I quit smoking and started lifting. I did a cycle of Test and EQ in year one, the Test and Deca in year two...only a single cycle each time. I got up to 175lbs in the time frame, but didn't really eat well. Then I did a cycle of D-bol and ate like a big boy and shot up to 198lbs. (LOVED IT!!!) This is where I want to be...maybe an extra 5lbs on top of it. Of course, as soon as I stopped I, I lost it all .

After that cycle, I went natural, ate well, took my protein and worked out like an anamial. At that point I was 187lbs., and as soon as I stray from it for a week or two, I drop 5 pounds...unreal!!!!! I think genetically, I am not meant to be big.

Overall, I have one cycle of test on me now, my hook-up is out of business, and I'll be wasting my time with just the test I think. Any ideas on how to keep this weight. I want to avoid weight gainers because it puts the weight around my waist. Thanks!!!!

I'm 29 and my metabolisme is like I'm 19. I eat, but I can't seem to build the muscle. I'm thinking that I should cut back on the cardio...

If you eat 4k-5k calories your metabolism won't matter, a lot of people blame that but in reality they are eating like a pussy. As far as a test only cycle, that's perfectly fine and you shouldn't have an issue gaining with it.

High protein, low carb, or eat everthing?!?!?! I don't want to pack the weight on around my waist again. Should I cut back on the cardio?

Gaining fat is a part of the muscle building process.

Cosign. Eat like a horse and gain all you can. Once you cut you'll be fine, with lots of new muscle. You can't bulk up to 200+ lbs and keep abs the entire time. Unless you plan on taking forever to get there.

Cosign with Thomas

I went from 135 to 153 from Feb to May this year and even though I am still a very lean guy- i have put on some over my abs and waist that I wish wasnt there, but I am just trying to get bigger. I maintained at the 153, and am eating better with 6 meals a day. I get plenty of cardio at work for 12 hrs a night gets the heart rate up and the sweat flowing. I am 160 now and off of all supplements.

So after I hit a desired weight 175 or so I am going to try to get my abs showing again. Maybe eventually I will hit 200 by next year some time..

But anyway- like they said - you will always get some fat when bulking.
