I'm 18 years old, just about 19. I've been working out since my sophomore year (15 years old) and up untill now i have been against the use of steroids. I've been researching for the past couple months here and there on steroids. I've been convinced on doing them, then convinced on not doing them, i'm in the middle. What would be a good beginner cycle? i know i'm going to get alot of negative stuff, but i'm just curious, if i do decide to do them, what would be a good safe start? i've found a couple sites showing a good beginner cycle, just looking for more opinions..

post your diet, training, weight, bf % and let us help you get where you want to be without ruining your endocrine system and possibly wrecking your body.

There are very few guys who, at your age, are actually ready for gear. Very few indeed.

I doubt if this is going to make any difference, since you seem to have made up your mind already, but...

Take it from a medical professional who has seen guys your age ruin their ability to be guys for the rest of their lives by starting gear too soon...

Unless you are genetically defective and are growing mammary glands right now, you can wait on the gear for a few years...

You have enough test in your system naturally to get you really good gains, as long as your diet and workout routine is solid. I'm probably "old" to you, being in my mid thirties, and I have in the past, and still continue to get, good gains without using gear.

my minds not set on it yet.. i was looking for these kind of opinions also.. i guess i should go back to the diet and same work out routine till i get a bit older for gear.. it's just so damn tempting as you all know... especially being my age.

heres a pic i found on my phone. i weigh 160lbs and try to eat really clean, but i tend not to... i don't remember the last time i maxed, but it was a whileee ago, 205 flat bench not sure what it is now. i do my best to go to the gym everyday.

I definitelt agree bro, way to young for gear. I used gear in highschool and im the shortest man in my family. Both of my sisters are taller than me. Nuff said?

You dont look like you cant grow without food, diet , and rest. Just give yourself a chance, I know its really tempting but you wont benefit as much now as you will in your mid to late twenties. You have your own gear factory in your body right now, pumpin out test. Your diet is key, do not let that out of your head. Eat, sleep, train PERIOD.

Honestly man, looking at the pic and re-reading your posts, you have what ya need to get what ya want.

I remember when I was your age I could eat anything in sight, and then some more, and not gain weight. My metabolism was so fast and I was very active physically with sports that it took me forever to gain weight. I usually gained more strength at the time, which served me well for many years. If you are eating really clean, and you want more gains, make sure you are sleeping enough, getting enough water in yas, training hard, and eating a ton (more than you are now). Be way better for you than any gear.

And yes gear is tempting, and if ya still want it, it will be there in a few years. It's not going away anytime soon.

good advice guys, thanks. i think i'll wait a little while to get on some gear! this is probably the 10th time i've told myself that but it keeps getting brought up and friends on it and such, but i'll do my best to wait! i was worried about getting bashed for even considering it, but seems to be some nice, knowledgeable people on this forum.

great decision...and if you wnt my advice, don't chase a number on the scale, chase a look. Do it slow and don't let yourself get too fat, and in 2-3 years you'll look amazing

I couldnt agree with these guys on here more. It is also very tempting for ALOT of people who have done any research into the subject.

I dont know if you have ever heard of it, but early last year I believe was a documentary that came out called

Bigger, Stronger, Faster that will give you VERY good visual insight into the world. Unfortunately Mike Bell was found dead last December shortly after the film was made in a rehabilitation center in california for drug addicts. The supposed cause was a heart attack..

Do research, lift, sleep, eat clean..

These guys know thier sh*t...

I'm agreeing with some of the others--gear can wait a few more years. I would never recommend it for someone your age.
