Semi-finals match: Triple H vs. The Big Show

As RAW hits the air HHH’s music hits as the first of two semi-final matches are set to get underway. As Show gets into the ring, HHH right away attacks him to no avail. Show begins to pummel HHH. Show then starts to attack HHH’s left hand for payback after what HHH did to his own hand several weeks ago. HHH try’s to irish-whip Show to the corner but can’t move him. Show then irish whips HHH to the corner and to the outside. Show picks up HHH, but HHH counters and rams Show’s face into the ring post to bust him wide open.

[Commercial Break]

Back from the break HHH is punching Show’s forehead to open up the cut even more. Show gets to his feet as HHH’s punches have no effect. HHH back peddles, and is then head butted. Show irish whip’s HHH to the ropes for a power slam. Show goes for his choke slam, but HHH counters it to a DDT. After that HHH hits the pedigree, but for only a 2 count. HHH is shocked and try’s to hit another pedigree, but Show counters it to a modified muscle buster. Show attempts another choke slam, but HHH kicks Show in the stomach. HHH goes up on top of the top turnbuckle, but lands right into Show’s right hand for the choke slam. Show goes for the pin and gets a 2 count as HHH puts his foot on the rope. HHH then rolls out of the ring. Show goes after him outside. HHH is pretty much out of it by now. Show throws HHH into the ring steps. Show runs at HHH, but HHH nails Show’s legs and falls into the steel steps. Now HHH is about to get in the ring, but is grabbed by the throat by Show and thrown off the apron. At this time, both HHH and Big Show have been counted out. This doesn’t stop HHH and Show from fighting. HHH grabs a steel chair. He’s about to hit Show, but Show spears HHH through the metal retaining wall. Show gets up as he stares down at the helpless HHH.

Winner: Double count out

After the break a video is shown about Shawn Michaels infamous speech about losing his smile.

Vince McMahon is shown in the back talking to his legal team about later tonight. He says this will be a night that Shawn Michaels will never forget. Todd Grisham enters Vince’s room and asks him what he is going to do after the conclusion of the HHH and Big Show match. And is it safe to assume that the winner of the RVD/Chris Masters match will go onto Wrestlemania and face the champion. Vince says when is it ever safe to assume? It’s not right to assume. You saw two individual’s who didn’t lose. Did you see the aggression in those two? I liked it and I’m going to award them both. Therefore those two will be in a triple threat match and face the winner of the RVD/Masters match. Don’t ever assume anything ever again. After Grisham leaves Mrs. Benjamin comes in with Shelton Benjamin. Mamma Benjamin says she needs Vince to give her son an opportunity to wrestle for the Intercontinental title. Vince says if he wins his match against Eugene then he’ll have a shot at the Intercontinental championship.

Mick Foley is shown singing in his lockeroom before he’s interrupted by Edge and Lita. Edge says he come too far to get screwed by you. Foley says he’s disgusted about the way Edge has been acting and as a matter of fact I’m a huge Hacksaw Jim Duggan fan. Where do you think I got the thumbs up from? Hooooooooo! Foley says he has no problem counting Cena down for the count. Edge says if you don’t, it will be the biggest mistake of your life.

Shelton Benjamin w/Mamma Benjamin vs. Eugene

Eugene comes down to ring with chocolate to give to Mamma Benjamin. Mamma Benjamin doesn’t want any and Shelton attacks Eugene. Shelton continues to attack Eugene inside the ring until Eugene gets angry. Eugene fights back with lefts and rights and then does his airplane spin. Eugene runs at Shelton, but is caught by him ant Shelton hits a samoan drop on Eugene. Shelton picks up Eugene for his T-bone suplex for the win. After the match Shelton says after next week, they won’t be calling me mamma’s boy. They’ll be calling me the new Intercontinental Champion after I beat the Nature Boy Ric Flair.

Winner: Shelton Benjamin

Another hand picked moment by Vince McMahon about Shawn Michaels career is shown. This time it’s the curtain call event at Madison Square Garden from 1996.

Ashley is shown in the back getting ready for her match next against Torrie Wilson.

Ashley vs. Torrie Wilson w/ Chloe & Candice Michelle

Before the match starts, Torrie cheap shots Ashley. Torrie begins to grab Ashley’s hair and swings her around the ring. Torrie clothesline’s Ashley from the corner and then gives her a face buster. Torrie irish whips Ashley to the ropes and Ashley hopes on Torrie’s back for a crucifix roll up, but botch's it and only does a roll up for the three count. After the match Candice says don’t worry because she has great news. On March 10th I’m going to be on the cover of Playboy. Torrie looked a little jealous.

Another hand picked moment was shown about Michaels career by Vince, showing what led to Vince’s recent feud with Michaels.

Next up is the Shawn Michaels mandatory retirement. Vince is in the ring with his legal team as he says for the very last time here is the single biggest pain in the ass I’ve ever experienced in my life, Shawn Michaels. Michaels comes down to the ring as Vince introduces the Spirit Squad who give Michaels a special cheer about being in the company for 20 years and now its time to kiss Vince’s ass. Michaels says he won’t sign the papers and then Vince cuts Michaels mic off. Vince demands Michaels to sign the damn papers now. Michaels thinks about it, but throws the pen away and rips the retirement papers in half in front of Vince’s face. Vince slaps Michaels face and leaves the ring. Before Vince leaves the arena he says when you tore up those papers, you opened the flood gates to your own personal hell.

After the commercial break a video package is shown of Bret Hart to announce he will be inducted into this years Hall of Fame on April 1st.

Jerry Lawler says check the weather forecast because hell just froze over. He also says no one else deserves it more then Bret.

Semi-finals match: Rob Van Dam vs. Chris Masters

Both wrestlers hooked up in the middle of the ring. Masters took control after a few shots, but not for long. After a pair of sling shot leg drops by RVD which led to only a 2 count on Masters. Masters elbowed RVD which knocked RVD to the apron. After Masters ran into RVD and pushed him over the barricade. Masters continued his dominants over RVD back in the ring until he ran into an RVD elbow. Then RVD went to the top rope to land his spin kick. RVD looked to land awkwardly on his leg from that. After that RVD hit his rolling thunder on Masters. RVD then went on top to hit his frog splash, but Masters was to quick and grabbed RVD for a suplex. RVD blocked it and spin kicked Masters off the second rope. Then RVD hit his five star frog splash for the 1-2-3.

Winner: Rob Van Dam

Trish’s date from last week Jack shows up in Trish’s lockeroom. Trish tells him to come in, but to his surprise its Mickie James wearing a blonde wig in disguise as Trish. Jack asks Mickie why are you wearing that wig. Mickie says I thought you liked people who looked like Trish? Then she says I am Trish’s friend and besides friends share. Jack says I’ve only known Trish for not that long but I want it to work. Mickie then says why are you hitting on me? She then removes her wig and starts to yell, help me as if Jack is harassing her. Jack try’s to calm her down, but it doesn’t work. Soon a police officer comes in and takes Jack away. Mickie then has a sick smile on her face.

Mickie is then being consoled by the police officer and then Trish comes in. Mickie says Jack attacked her and she tried to get away from him.

A video package was shown of the history between Edge and Cena.

John Cena vs. Edge w/Lita for the WWE Championship: Special Guest Referee Mick Foley

Cena and Edge lock up in the middle of the ring. Cena knocks down Edge and goes for a quick cover and gets a 2 count. Edge then goes outside to rethink things over.

After the break Edge is clearly in control. Edge sets up Cena on the top turnbuckle, but is knocked down by Cena. Cena then hits a splash from the top rope for a 2 count. After a snap suplex by Cena, Edge trips Cena into the turnbuckle. Edge then tells Lita to untie the top turnbuckle pad. Lita try’s to untie the top turnbuckle pad, but Foley catches her. Lita acted like she was just tightening it up, but Mick doesn’t buy it. Mick then tells Lita to hit the bricks and go back to the lockeroom.

After the break Edge takes the fight to Cena on the outside with a baseball slide. After a failed sleeper attempt by Edge, Cena sets up Edge on the top turnbuckle for an FU. Edge gets out of it and power bomb’s Cena. Edge goes for the cover with his feet on the tope rope, but only gets a two count. Edge is clearly angry at Foley and shoves him. Cena gets up and hits a modified slam on him. Then Cena hits the five knuckle shuffle. Cena then attempts another FU, but Edge counters it into an impaler for a 2 count. Edge goes for a spear, but Cena moves out of the way. Cena attempts another FU, but again Edge gets out of it and shoves Cena into Foley. Edge try’s to clothesline Cena, but Cena moves out of the way and Edge knocks Foley to the outside. Cena then applies the STFU on Edge until Lita comes back. While Cena’s distracted by Lita, Edge hits him from behind. Edge tells Lita to get the WWE title belt. Lita hands him the belt. Edge nails Cena cross the head with the belt and covers him. Lita helps Foley into the ring for the count, but Edge only gets a 2 count. Edge then goes to the top rope for a cross body. Cena catches him, puts him in the FU position and hits it for the 3 count. Cena celebrates as he leaves the ring and arena. Edge is then staring at Foley in disbelief, while Lita comes from behind and low blows Foley. Then Edge spears Foley. Edge says screw you, you cost me as RAW goes off the air.

Winner: John Cena
