News this year is that Eddie and Bret Hart are the main candidates to be inducted into the hall of fame. It's doubtful that Hart will agree to appear though.
Personally if Bret doesn't want to do it, it'll make it a whole lot better and more special. I personally feel that it would be something really special if Eddie Guerrero is the only inductee into the hall of fame this year.

Eddie deserves to be in the hall of fame but not so soon after his death.. maybe in 5-10 years time.

I'm in complete agreement with you here, Pain. To induct him so soon would be to trivialize his memory; it would look too much like they're just trying to capitalize on his death for ratings, as if that hasn't happened already. Bret Hart on the other hand would be an excellent inductee, if he'd agree to it. His DVD set was amazing, and I'm glad he and Vince reached an understanding concerning it's release. He's an unquestionable legend; I look forward to seeing the day when he's recognized for everything he's contributed to the WWE.

Absolutely no question of that. I've loved Eddie since I first saw him in WCW, circa '96. Consistently underrated and underappreciated, and it was excellent to see that turn around. I just believe a little more time needs to go by, as to avoid trivializing the occassion.
