Randy Couture vs. Brandon Vera
Mike Swick vs. Dan Hardy
Michael Bisping vs. Denis Kang
James Wilks vs. Matt Brown
Ross Pearson vs. Aaron Riley

Preliminary Card

Terry Etim vs. Shannon Gugerty
Paul Taylor vs. John Hathaway
Nick Osipczak vs. Matthew Riddle
Paul Kelly vs. Dennis Siver
Alexander Gustafsson vs. Jared Hamman
Andre Winner vs. Rolando Delgado

For the main card.

Couture vs Vera

I'm leaning towards Couture over Vera by decision. I think Vera dropped to lightweight because he realized that he would be irrelevant to the heavyweight division. Has Vera done well in the light heavyweight division? I don't think so, he's finished Matt Patt, decision over Reese Andy, and had a very very very poor showing against Krystoph where he pulled out the decision but showed a big inability to finish of a fighter like Krystoph that had back to back to back fights and was most likely not at peak.

I don't think Couture is going to be able to out do Vera i the striking game, but I think its going to be 3 rounds of ground and pound.

Mike Swick vs Dan Hardy

I'm going with Swick. I think Swick is really coming into his own and can push the pace harder than Hardy is going to be able to. Im going with Swick via ko or sub.

Michael Bisping vs Denis Kang

I think if Bisping can keep it standing he will win the fight by KO or by decision, if it goes to the ground I see a sub by denis kang.

James Wilks vs. Matt Brown

I'm tempted to go with Wilks.

Ross Pearson vs. Aaron Riley

Leaning towards pearson.

Undercard i'll go with Matthew Riddle, he's the only fighter i'm really familiar with.

I think he doesn't concentrate on fighting. Krystoph had fought his fourth time in less than a year. 4 fights in 9 months. At that point he should've been an easier finish. But Vera didn't want to do anything because "Krystoph wouldn't initiate". No excuse.

If Randy can't pound out Brandon by the second round, I'm going to be angry.

Me too. I'm thinking that Vera is going to want to use his slight reach advantage and his kicking advantage which in this fight will be larger, to try to keep randy outside and then rush into finish him when he gets a good rhythm. What he definitely doesn't want is couture to get him in the clinch and against the cage or on the ground.

I agree that Randy won the fight, but for once I was not inpressed by Randy. He knew it was a boring fight, but O'well I guess you do what you gotta do to win. Im suprised at Hardy winning, and Im actually impressed by Bisping. I thought he didnt have a chance in hell against Kang. I give the card a C+, wasnt really happy with it, and glad it was free.

For hardy to win 30-27 on any vote is out of proportion.

Swick looked off of his game. Too bad for Hardy that he's walking into GSP. I'll say it right now, it will be YEARS until any of the titles leave any part of America.

Vera's problem is simple, when he was a heavyweight he should've been a light heavyweight, now that he's light heavy he looks like he can drop to middle.

The worst thing for a striker to do is wrestle, especially against Randy who will force his opponents to get arm weary. I know the match was probably a bit boring because it was wrestling, which I enjoyed very much, but I think for his first match back at 205 it's not too bad all things considered.

Vera lost because of his inability to execute his own game plan and finish. Just like against Krystoph who was overworked by the time of that match and gassed out. It seems Vera is trying to build himself as the archetypal counter striker but what he doesn't realize is that most of the guys that like to counter strike can also initiate pretty well.

I liked the fight, Couture fought very smart. He wore down Vera for two rounds and turned it on in the third. Couture's main gameplan since he was involved in so many title fights has been just that, wear them down the turn it on. Vera was tired by the second round he should've been able to capitalize on that nice combo he had. Even at the end of the third Vera was throwing arm punches because he was so tired.

Agreed. I feel that GSP is years ahead of Hardy and that he'll (Hardy) be lucky to have it go to a decision with Georges.

Definitely, look at what he did to Thiago, he fought through with an injury and just outwrestled him to take away that strike advantage. Hardy is a great boxer, but thats about all I can say for him.
