Nate Marquardt super charged that punch into Maia.

I liked it overall. I think Randy was at a general disadvantage against a fighter like Minotauro, a Healthy minotauro can slide through three rounds, I think with a five round fight Randy might have been able to pull off something. But that was a great fight.

I was disappointed that I didn't get to see the Gonzaga fight. Jardine disappointed me too, but it was a good fight. I hope Leben doesn't get released, he looked alot better this time around than with Leben, I think as a swarmer he's evolving into a more effective striker.

As for Vera and Sozysnski I wanted Krystoph to win, but that was his fourth fight in 8 months. Contractually he's fought a years worth of fights in half a year. It was an interesting fight, Vera had Krystoph backing up but never really pulled out the stops to take him down.

Ed Herman vs Simpson was a good fight, Simpson was really aggressive and crisp. Herman has some balls for continuing the fight on what looked like a pull or a tear. Simpson looks like he'll be a legitimate contender.

Duffee is a young exciting prospect. Hopefully his game is more rounded out than just his striking ability.

I liked 102 a lot, very exciting fights.

I was very impressed with the entire card. Might be one of the best cards of the yr. I wasn't expecting much out of it and every fight was exciting. I'm surprised about Leben.. he is usually more crafty that that. For Randy to escape those sub attempts is amazing. The KO of the night bonus should have been split.

really surprisingly good card. I love Randy, but Nog was just better which Randy acknowledged.

You notice how Randy is always interviewed after he loses. Looks like the Hall of Famers are interviewed by Joe regardless of if they win or not.

I really thought Randy would have this one after seeing Nogara in his last fight. I didn't realize that Nogara had some injuries and was in the hospitol a week before his last fight. That would explain why Mir won...sort of...

I was shocked by Nate's knockout of Maia. Actually, for the first time in history, I was wrong on EVERY fight. The guys I was with made a lot of fun of me.

I didn't think Couture was going to win with a 3 round bout, I think if it was five round he would've fared slightly better.

I thought Kristoph was going to win, I hadn't paid attention to how many fights he's done and I was dissapointed because he fights with a great team, to have Hendo coaching would be a dream.

Jardine and Leben are two fighters I also had my mind set on winning, other fights happened as I thought.

shiiiit the one ufc I miss....ughh just watching now. Ya good fight with Coutre im glad he didnt get submitted or knocked out. ya it is interesting about the staph infection before the Mir fight does explain a bit. just watching the other ones now.

He had a bad staph infection too as well as a knee problem.
