Also dosnt say but he says he back. I thought he retired. I used to love Roy Jones and he is a crazy skilled fighter but the showboating kills me. I felt so bad for the other guy wow.

BILOXI, Miss. - Roy Jones Jr. toyed with Jeff Lacy for the first four rounds and then punished him for six more before Lacy's corner mercifully stopped the bout after the 10th round Saturday night. Jones scored a TKO victory in the light-heavyweight match before a sparse crowd at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum.

Lacy (25-3, 17 KOs) didn't provide enough of a challenge to test Jones, so how much mileage the 40-year-old former undisputed 175-pound champion actually will get from the match is questionable. For Lacy, a former super middleweight champion, this was probably the end of the road.
"I kept telling you that all I needed was a tuneup," Jones said. "I'm still the man."

There was a long delay before Jones and Lacy stepped into the ring because Lacy didn't want to wear the brand of gloves that both fighters had agreed on the day before. The stalling tactic did nothing to throw Jones off his game. He said Lacy could wear whatever brand he wanted as long as he went through with the fight.

Once they were in the thick of the fight, it hardly mattered what type of gloves they were wearing. You could barely see Jones' hands, which are just as blazing fast as they were a decade ago. And Lacy spent much of the first couple of rounds with his head buried in Jones' chest and his fist desperately trying to dig into Jones body. Jones seemed content to fight with his back on the ropes, firing off when it seemed convenient.

Jones (54-5, 40 KOs) opened a small cut underneath Lacy's right eye in the third round. But it didn't appear to be problematic. The bigger problem for Lacy was how to slow Jones down long enough to land his shots. It seemed a futile effort as Jones mugged to the crowd, pointed at his friends in the audience, wiggled his hips and clowned in front of Lacy, all the while landing potshots at will.

Jones was just showing off when he twice landed a triple left hook to Lacy's chin and followed it up near the end of the round with a 12-punch combination. Lacy had no answers for that kind of speed. At times it looked like nothing more than a glorified sparring session for Jones.
By the ninth round, both of Lacy's eyes were badly swollen from the number of punches that Jones had landed, most of them in rapid succession. Lacy's left eye was just a slit in the 10th round and his corner didn't even have an endswell to help reduce the swelling.
"I came here and I fought my heart out," Lacy said. "I'm a warrior. He was the better man tonight."

On the undercard, Aussie Danny Green (27-3, 24 KOs) stopped Julio Cesar Dominguez at 2:53 of the fifth round to take the IBO cruiserweight title. Green blasted Dominguez, knocking him down three times in the fight, twice in the fifth round. The last one forced referee Freddie Steinwinder III to call a halt to it. Green was hoping to lure Jones to Australia for a fight in November. Cruiserweight contender B.J. Flores (24-0-1, 15 KOs) dominated an overmatched Epifanio Mendoza (29-8-1, 25 KOs), stopping him by TKO at 1:19 of the fourth round. Mendoza appeared to injure his left shoulder early in the round before his corner stepped into the ring to stop it.
