I just wanted to find out what everyone's thoughts were about UFC 87. I still haven't watched the GSP vs Fitch fight but I'm anxiously awaiting it.

Huerta vs Florian
I thought it was a good fight because neither fighter could really impose their will on the other one, but it went pretty much much how i was expecting even though i wanted Huerta to win.

Lesnar Vs Herring
First and foremost I would like to say that brock lesnar is a BEAST! Heath Herring is a tough guy and I've never seen him get dominated for 15 minutes straight like that.. I've never seen someone with so much power (in fighting) that's actually able to utilize all of their strength for fighting. Also his speed was amazing.

Maia vs Macdonald
IMO I thought that this was one of the most exciting fights of the night. I can't wait to see what Maia will bring in the future.

*EDIT*: I just watched the GSP vs Fitch and I wasn't really surprised but I am kind of surprised that fitch made it out of that first round as bad as he was getting hit. But he held his own and did pretty good, cant wait for GSP vs Penn

What did you guys think?

GSP vs Fitch was an AWSOME fight. I'm glad Fitch held his own, hes definitely a respectable fighter especially after that fight.

Huerta vs Florian... Florian is a great fighter expected nothing less from him.

Lesner vs Herring, Lesner dominated it was almost sad the way he was punishing Herring, but still very entertaining fight.

Lensar destroyed the other dude. Whats made me me laugh my ass off was when Brock would come out laughing. Like he was enjoying himself. lol

GSP is just the man. If Penn cant take him out Im afraid at this point, no one can.

I agree with all of your analysis projekt0. I think GSP will beat BJ just because BJ doesn't seem to have improved that much since the last time he fought him. On the other hand GSP has improved by leaps and bounds. I think BJ or Silva are the only guys that can possibly take out GSP.

cosign. I was blown away at GSP conditioning. He appeared as fresh in the last round as he did in round 1. I know he was tired but you wouldnt guess it from watching him. Like a machine.

im almost positive that anderson could take out GSP but if gsp went up to 185 he wouldn't be the same fighter i dont think as he is at 170. and if anderson went down to 170 it would be an unhealthy cut for him most likely. and if penn was a natural 170 i think it would be an awesome fight, but at 170 i think gsp will take him too

The weight isn't an issue for BJ though. BJ has fought guys @ 205. For GSP to make 185 would be easy and I don't think it would slow him down.

yup pretty much agree too. i felt so bad when brock was laughing basically right in the guys face GSP is the man, he did have me a touch worried for a sec when Serra took him down last year in like the first round but agian has gotten better every fight but he was the man before that too. penn vs gsp is going to be crraazyy.

Lesnar fight was boring, but he's definitely come a long ass way since he started.
