I hate how these people get pain peanuts compared to boxers. The sport could go so far if they were to just up the wagers.

And fedor only getting $300'000 is just a disgrace.

Dude these are actually good. The UFC rates were the ones that were rediculously low. I think for example GSP only got like 300 000 for his fight. So these number are actually a positive step in the right direction for the industry. Now Fedor the only thing I can assume was that they paid him less due to his debut in the U.S hes not really a household name here only to the people that heabily follow the sport. You can bet hell get top dollar on the next fight and that Tim Silvia will get pennies. lol

Also rumor has it Fedor received 1.5 million per some other agreement negotiated.

Good point, I knew UFC was really bad but I wasnt sure about these. Athough Those figures are still nothing compared to boxers. Ive heard of 10+ million a fight for the big fights, is that actually true?

Oh yeah somtimes even more depending on the fighter. Ithink with the success of events like Affliction, you will see competition rise which well only be better for us. Also this will give the fighters more value and barganing power, so there payouts should increase as well. Before it was almost lilke you were luccky to make it to the UFC so take your 50 thousand and shut up. but now Dana will have to pay his fighters more or they will leave.

at least Fedor can sleep well knowing he made the easiest 300 grand of his life. What's an even bigger disgrace though is Sylvia getting paid over 3/4 of a mill to get his ass stomped. they should have just given it to Fedor as punishment for such a pitiful showing.

Totally agree. Andrei Arlovski is now fighting Fedor Oct. 11th. If you missed out betting on the Fed vs. Silvia fight you know have another chance at virtually guaranteed money. Granted the payout was only like 0.20
