Last Kimbo fight on CBS Prime time. Was it rigged?

I was on vacation and set the dvr, but the show lasted longer than the time block for the dvr cut off right before the match. I see a lot of different opinons online.

The ref stopped it too early.

Just a bad ref. That wasn't his only bad decision.

Ref was bad. I dont think he stopped it early, his ear exploded and he was obviously about to be knocked out. Based on the ear situation I would have called it mysel, thats just weird.

BUT, where I think the ref really sucked was where he should have called the fight when kimbo was unable to defeend himself pinned up against the cage getting hit in the head with repeated elbows.

Yeah I was thinking he could have stopped it there more so than when he did.

Although you're probably right that James was on his way to a knockout, he was still standing and you never know what could have happened. A takedown attempt maybe, catch his breath, fight goes on etc.

That ear thing was pretty ****ed up, looked like a bursting tumor.

I can see what your saying. makes sense. Yeah I guessed I must have missed it but I saw the other day on youtube the begining of the fight when they showed his ear, dumb as fu#$ not to have gotten that drained. Clearley you can see it was fresh. Wow that was nasty. Tumor. lmao

of course that **** is rigged! what was that organization called like th elite fc, its like the minor leagues of mma. all they have going for them atm is kimbo, so he has to win. hes literally carrying that organization on his back, 3/4 of the viewers would not have watched it had kimbo not fought.

I heard about a ufc talking about the fight and said that the fight was a joke because they are nowhere near the level of the UFC. I think he has a point there. For nontested elite bbders the IFBB is king. Although there might be good bbders in other organizations the competition is obviously weaker

Yeah the ref was questionable for this match, and that dude's cauliflower ear was nasty as hell, that was just dumb not getting that taken care of earlier. Some reporters were writing about how sad the whole program was in furthering the sport of MMA. I agree too, so much time was wasted not showing fights, all to end up with a really anticlimactic bought
