Bob Sapp uses his strength and size pretty well. He overwhelms his opponent using the bull rush technique but that has a downside to it. He engulfs you with punches as you try to make distance. Uses basically no submission techniques whatsoever. His weakness is his endurance. Once he gets tired he drops his guard and then allows him to get hit. Plus hes very marketable in Japan. Big Huge guy compared to normal japans but also a nice one.
I think Kimbo has a bright future even though he gets a bad rap as a street fighter. I believe he was trained by Bas Rutten and some UFC/Pride trainers to teach him submission techniques and to increase his stamina. He still needs to face someone with a brazilian jujitsu background before I can say hes ready for the big promotions. Facing an ex-boxer doesnt cut it.
Don't get me wrong I think Batista would probably beat up any normal drunk guy at the bar or any person with no formal training. Once he gets in a mma ring he can't rely on his strength and size if he gets taken down. Don't always believe the stereotype taht the bigger guy is the better fighter. They are merely giving the impression that they are more dangerous.
Most people don't realize the importance of conditioning and training. A two minute submission wrestling can be excrusciating. Hell i went 8 minutes in a bjj match and I couldn't lift up my arm for 2 hours because i used all my remaining strength to hold an arm triangle and keep it locked till i found the right position.
