Hi guys britain's unsung boxing hero Joe Calzaghe Just won the British Sports Personality of the Year. I just wanted to pay tribute this remarkable guy who has been undefeated super middleweight world champion for the last ten years. Well done Joe, recognition for being the best at last!

Yeah, Calzaghe is a great fighter and totally deserves it.

He was impressive in his last fight against Kessler, and I really don't see Hopkins beating him!

Enzo Calzaghe also won Coach of the year I hear, which is great too.

Good to see boxing back up in the news again!

Should be an interesting fight, I know Joe has to go up in weight to light heavy if he is to fight Hopkins, but hopkins came from the middleweight division himself and if joe can do it, I think finally people outside the uk will take notice of just how good Joe is and has been for over ten years

Joe has had a bit of difficulty making the Super Middleweight limit already, so the step up should be too hard.

Kessler and Hopkins would be a better fight, as I think Joe is simply in another class to Hopkins!

Definately deserves a hell of a lot more recognition and appreciation than he gets!

i think Hopkins is still a very dangerous fighter even with two recent losses (both to the same person who might just have had his number) be a good fight either way
