That weight was way too much for Wandy, and he did not appear to be himself from the moment he stepped into the ring. He was slower and less agile. Compare the staredown to every other match he has had.
That was Mirko's night and nobody was going to take it from him, but Wandy could have done much better if his eye wasn't shut. Mirko is a real heavyweight, and Wandy was overweight. Plus, what was the key to Mirko's success? Hard kicks to the midsection that brought Wandy's hands down--a perfect setup for the infamous high kick. I don't see Chuck bringing any of that to the fight. If anything has changed, it depends on how Wandy bounces back from this loss.

I actually do agree with alot of what ur saying... i only state some things becos it makes for interesting discussion sometimes..
I dont agree that the extra weight inhibited Wandy though... .. its more like his natural weight... he didnt have to worry bout cutting and came in at what he felt comfortable as. He was heavier than Mirko..
Mirko is not really a 'real' heavyweight' as he's natuarally 210-215lbs.. thats alot lighter then what the avarage light heavy weight walks around at.
My main point is ..I dont believe in 'MMA Math' eg because Wandy beat Rampage and Rampage beat Chuck = Wandy will beat Chuck. MMA and sports in general don't always work like that.
I believe that styles make fights.. A good acurate striker (with heavy hands) will always have a good chance against Wandy as he lets his hands go freely alot of the time.
This is just my opinion and im not saying that Wandy cant knock out chuck if things went right for him..
Also im not saying chuck is as good as Mirko.. I dont believe that..
