Dewees and Cote should bring some needed experience to the roster, but best of all...
No Nick Diaz

Oh, don't get me wrong; I have nothing but respect for Nick Diaz's abilities. It's the post-loss-whining that I get tired of. As far him as spanking me
My current MMA record is 14-1, but there's no physical way I could ever cut down to Diaz's weight class; nor would I want him to try to bulk up to mine. So I guess the fantasy football approach would be in order, if I really wanted to entertain the notion...
I really don't, so I'll just keep rolling for my next bout in two weeks. So for the record:
Nick Diaz fighting abilities=
Big Mouth that's turned from cocky to whining in the face of his recent losing streak=

I train mostly in Utah; about once every three/four months I'll travel out to SoCal(I grew up there/Valencia) to train there for a week or two. With work though, I find myself getting out to the west coast less and less; law enforcement is demanding for sure. I'd love to train with Jeremy Horn(in SLC; one of my top ten, easy), but I think I'd be too dumbstruck and humbled to even ask for an invitation.

I'm a complete nobody though No Sherdog, no Full Contact Fighter, nothing(a bit to my dismay). None of my fights have been at anything that could be considered a higher end venue. All have been local affairs; if I really pursued it, I'm not sure where I could end up. I just know there are A LOT of athletes out there that could destroy me in an eyeblink, but all in the same, I'd be honored to participate under some larger lights for sure.

I've been a student of the arts since I was seven, but MMA competition has been a fairly recent development for me. I switched over from 'mainstream' martial art tournaments, mainly for the fact that they weren't about the arts themselves anymore; it all became flashy staffs and crazy screamers. Nearly everyone has adopted an Olympic-Taekwondo approach to their sparring as well, and I found that I was unwilling to roll with these unfortunate changes. I'd been competing near-monthly since I started as a kid, so I still really wanted a competitive martial venue in my life. I've been very happy with my involvement with MMA, but unfortunately, it's more of an indulgence than an actual pursuit.

So I see you too became enlighted(?) when it came to what real Martial Arts were too. I used to be into Kung Fu A LOT! But then MMA changed the way I see fighting. I live in Minnesota and would love to go to Iowa and train (or at least hang out) with the Miletich Team.

Real Marital Arts competition for sure, but I'm most definitely still a traditional student of the arts. I currently hold first degree black rank in American Kenpo, Hapkido, and Haidong Gumdo; going for my Ii-Dan(2nd Black) in Hapkido this November, and Gumdo in mid-winter. Personally, I feel they're two different things. For competition, it's completely MMA for me; but for progression as a true student of the arts, I do what I've done since I've been a child.

Training/hanging out with the Miletich Team would be incredibly cool! I've just always felt unworthy on a certain level when it comes to training with strongly established figures in MMA. Namely because these men pour all their efforts into excelling in MMA, while I could be considered a more casual competitor by comparison. If the fights were my center, I'm sure I would feel differently. Their dedication humbles me, but I still would feel like an outsider looking in if I were to attempt to train with any such body of competitors.

Yeah, you kinda feel like you would just be wasting their time and also become afraid that there's probalbly like a million other guys out there doing the same. But hey, Fortune favors the Bold.

You should cruise down there and kick out Sam Hogar; I hear he's on probation at Miletich anyway.

What happened to Keith Hackney, I thought he was set to be on TUF 4?

edit: Sam Hoger is a twat. I hope someone kills him in the ring.
