In the article, Vince says: “It could be difficult for [UFC] going forward because they’re in a situation much like boxing where they don’t control the outcomes of their events. They don’t quite know what they’re doing in terms of building characters.”

The article goes on to show some of the buy rates for the UFC.

well not for nothing vince msut know what hes doing, he started with justa bout nothing nows a billionare, made a smart move(money wise) for bringing ecw back, and his shows are the most viewed on cable tv, Raw was for years and years, and vince knows how to take out competiton

The WWE and MMA are two completely different entities, though;apples and oranges, as it were. Vince can offer an opinion, but I don't think it'll impact the success of Mixed Martial Arts itself. Plus, I think he may be feeling the heat; hopefully he'll realize that the WWE creative department is beyond stagnant on nearly every level, and institute change accordingly. Planned outcomes are not by any means better when it's the same recycled garbage again, and again, and again....
