Tarver vs. Hopkins..? Who wins?

This should be a very interesting matchup! Maybe something worth paying for?

I actually think going into this fight Hopkins has the edge. For one he has went up in weight to fight, easy for him, two he has just come off back to back losses against Jermain Taylor, that's good in my eyes because Jermain is like the best at that weight division and almost lost to Hopkins in 2 questionable fights! So the way I see it is Hopkins has the momentum because he's fought a tough younger and fresher opponent.

Tarver is an excellent fighter, but we all know he had to come down in weight from doing the Rocky movie and that was like a 30-40 pnd drop. Tarver also beat Roy Jones, which in my opinion was past his prime, so Tarver's head is real big right now. But I have to admit I like Tarvers personality over Hopkins and I hope Tarver can upset Hopkins and keep moving up in his career because this will be Hopkins last fight and if he wins that kind of puts that division at a standstill.

What are your thought or who wins?

hopkins is 41 years old and this will be his last fight, i am really pulling for him and i hope he wins, but i think tarver will get the best of him

Yeah, I'm with you. I like Hopkins too, but I think Tarver will come out on top in this fight.

Update:

Hopkins punished Tarver all night! He just keep him off balance and discourged him greatly. I knew Hopkins had the edge coming in the fight and it really showed. Tarver didn't win any rounds in my book. Way to go Hopkins! Age aint shit if you take care of your body!!!

YEEEEHAAAAAAH!!!!! Wanted Hopkins to win, but I must admit thought Tarver was going to be too strong for Hopkins to hold off. That's cool, hope he retires now while he is on top.
