John "Earthquake" Tenta Passes Away

WWE.com posted the following:

John "Earthquake" Tenta passed away this morning at the age of 42 after a lengthy battle with bladder cancer. Tenta is survived by his wife and three kids.

I'm in shock over this. Earthquake was one of my favs as a kid and I used to read his posts on wrestlecrap.com all the time.

Bladder cancer? Sounds like a rare and painful way to pass from this life. He and Typhoon(Tugboat) were great back in the day, and I'll always be grateful for his contributions to the sport as a whole. That and the fact that Earthquake would always beat me down on the arcade stand-up of WWF Superstars; good memories, those. My empathy definitely goes out to his family, and may he rest well.
