I'm sorry imraan, but in my eyes, the title's been going back to Cena for nearly two years. He's getting stale, and is progressively becoming more dependant on the title to carry him. If HHH was able to turn the bulk of wrestling fans(and all of Chicago) around concerning Cena in just a couple of in-ring promos, it doesn't say much for Cena. Now I really liked him in his debut against Angle, as well as his follow up work on Smackdown. As the innovation stopped and the 'freestyle' rapper/repetitve one-liner/gimmick-move guy/reebok pumper/walks-tromps like a drunk ape/white-but-thinks-he's-black/ came into play, it's become harder and harder for me to stay a fan of his in any real way, shape, or form; namely, at all. He needs to lose the title, and his tired character, and get back to basics. |
