i haven't heard much about it, but are they gunna get there own division and championship or is it just gunna be a stepping stone for the fighters to get up to welterweight...the two 155 weight fights last night were pretty enjoyable and i think that there should be a lightweight division...does anyone have any info on this?

They will eventually. Right now the UFC is just trying to build them up before they get going with a title shot which would have to be the Main Event which is why they wanna get it going first. They are also letting the best go to the top so they give it to someone worthy.
