I think that I will have to go with USC just because of who they are. It is theirs to lose even though they lost two great players, they have enough talent on that team to win another one. But watch out for my Clemson Tigers, pre-season #12...who knows? It could happen!

They lost the big three though. Don't forget Lyndell White. I am just waiting for the Huskers to get back to the top of the rankings. See I would have to say that USC would probably ranked first as well.

Yea of course Lyndell. I did forget about him. But he is overshadowed by possibly ONE the best running backs that college football has seen in a while. No dobut that USC will contend this year.

I'd like to see the Big 12 get back to where it was three or four years ago with Oklahoma, Nebraska, Tech, Texas, Texas A&M and Colorado. That was a stacked conference.

What about TCU in the Mountain West? That is about an instant bowl bid every year.

Maybe not #1 but michigan will probably in the top 15. I imagine they will give Texas one of the top ranks. Oklahoma is probably still pretty far out.

Sportsline has Ohio State as he preseason #1 since after the spring games. I have to agree. And watch out for the 6'2 230 pound monster of a running back Chris Wells.

Yeah could be a solid pick. I guess I am still pissed off that Nebraska isn't among all those teams like the good old days.
