Just a little more sugar but not much. Don't feel bad my dad was a produce manager for 23 years and he didn't know either.

Man, im glad i live in texas. I dont have to deal with canned SPs.... :P

Btw, i heated up my whole sweet potato yesterday in the micro-wave, and yea. it didnt work even when i cut little slivers all over the thing. :|

The middle parts didn't cook through, and i had it in there for over 10 minutes total. 6 minutes straight at one point.

i used to cook potatoes in micro. i used to poke holes and wrap it with wet paper towel. now i cut them up, boil them and mash them. don't know if that takes away nutritional value. u know how some ppl say that if u boil veggies, some nutrients wash away with water?

The water soluable vitamins (B and C) of which SP's only have C.

They are also really high in vitamin A but that's fat soluble (A, D, E, and K - are fat soluble) but I wouldn't worry about losing a little vitamin C.

i just cut mine up in slices and put em in a bowl with a little bit of water put a plate on top of the bowl and then microwave em for 3 minutes...its essentially like steaming them i do that with alot of foods cooks the s*** outta everything really fast...be careful though cuz really easy to get burned by the steam when you take the plate off
