i dont think it will work because one time i put whey with water in the refrigerator to keep it cool so i could drink it later.

i came back a few hours later and it looked disgusting. the whey separates itself into a bunch of different layers.(im guessing soy, egg, milk, and all that stuff)

I used to make a shake (whey and milk) then chuck it in the freezer to 2-3 hours but i also read on the back of my protein consume within 20mins so i stopped doing that..

isolates r realy good for freezing, mix in with some milk and leave it for around 30 mins n its becomes like a mousse almost like ice cream lol and a big plus isolates dont separate or need to be consumed quickly

I should think freezing it wouldn't hurt it at all. At the very least, you can add milk, protein and ice cream to a glass and make a milkshake.

I have made protein ice cream before, I whip up whey protein, egg whites and vanilla extract. Throw it in the freezer, every 15 mins or so so stir it.
Another option is just water, protein and a tbsp of pb. Add just enough water so that it's a thin pancake-like batter, freeze for about 30mins.

if you want to go with a keto mousse like ice cream, whip up whipping cream then add in chocolate whey protein and freeze.. It's delicious! If you want you can always just put in the fridge as a mousse
