welcome bro...
hmmm where to start,
have a split like any PL or bbder has, & lift your heart out, sticking to HIT at 5X5 heavy ass sets & reps...
basic exercises like squats, deads, & flat bench is a must...
anymore questions bro, i'm sure a few guys here can answer...i put PL into my bbding regime, is it strictly PL you want to do or bbding, or perhaps both? lol

^^Cosign. I've only comepted once in a competition. It depends on what kind of PL you want to be. Because there are, as I like to call them, The Bread and Butter competiors, and then the Olympic lifters. The B&B's do squats, bench, and deads. The O's do more Clean&Press, Clean&Jerk, etc. What they do in the Olympics. The B&B's use the Single 1RM system more than the O's. The B&B's tend to use pyramid sets more than the O's. If you have any questions, feel free to message me, LBJ, or roccodart, if he's still arround. We're more than happy to help.

The split depends on what you want to compete in. Banch only? Ironman or Full power?

Heaps of ways to train.

One of the most basic or ways of training is to train 3 days per week. A day for each lift and then assistance exercises.

So Monday might be deadlift day. Start with an empty bar and keep adding weight up to a top set of 1, 2, 3 or 5. You might pull off the floor, various rack heights, or off blocks depending on where you need work.

Then most assistance work is kept in typical BB type range. So you might do bent rows, chins, GHRs, shrugs, reverse hypers or whatever for sets of 8-10.

Same goes for squat day and bench day.

Obviously there's other ways of training (the most prominent being westside barbell methods), but that's a basic old school way of doing it.
