Well see what his reaction is with the whole North Korea issue. If he takes no action like like he did with the last threat from them just a couple of weeks ago, then Im afraid were going to have another nuclear ready country.

His tour of apology was retarded. Why go around apologizing for things that he didn't even have a hand in? We're America. We RARELY apologize for anything. I'm straight up patriotic and I believe that America rules no matter what we're doing. I do feel like he was being stupid when he fired the CEO. It may be a public business, but it has NOTHING to do with the government. I know people would lose jobs, but the government should have no say in what a business that's not affiliated or ran by the government should do or shouldn't do. That's just straight socialism/communism right there.

I'll tell you what Obama will do about North Korea..." jack sh*t." North Korea has one serious military force, they won't get ran out of their cities like invading Iraq.

North Korea's active and reserve military today is estimated at more than double what the US has. We do NOT want to go to war with Iran, China or North Korea, the outcome will not be pretty.

When the people you want to fight with have over 1,000,000 active and over 7,000,000 in reserve military you'll think twice about starting a fight.

well yes that may be true but the only thing is we wouldnt be doing a man vs man combat strategy. Fact is that country is very poor. Cutting off there imports would defeat them half way as there resources are very limited. However there people can survive on almost nothing. Second I would think our attacks would come from air and sea knocking out strategic locations to isolate them further. I think the true test is to determine do we want to go to war with a country that MAY have Nuclear missles ready for launch. In a sucide effort they can easily knock the hell out of Japan or south Korea. No doubt there mentality is war, in fact there people have been fed propaganda in believing that the North has already been at war for all these past year. Communist country people are told what to think.

yeah exactly . The fact that China has not sided with them on this recent incident along with Russia is a bit comforting.

Yeah their country is poor, they're also forced into military or they are killed. So going there isn't going to be simple like the Iraq war, we also don't have the resources to start another war.

Hopefully we don't have to go to war, people dying for any reason isn't too good. We've wasted billions in Iraq, the last thing we need is a second war for years more to add to our screwed up economy.

The US has nuclear arms, other countries will do the same. Life is simple we breed, consume and die. It's only a matter of time before the human race dies out anyways, hopefully it isn't in my life time I am buying a new house and motorcycle and haven't got to race it yet

A friend of mine said "off the record" they were talking about a draft in their command. So it may be more serious than we think. Just because China has not got into it doesn't mean they won't.

Yeah but thats not the fact. Fact is China is not a current threat, where Korea is. If they attacke south Korea or Japan were going to war weather we like it or not. Thats out of Obamas hands right there, hoever I wouldnt be surprised if him and Nancy pulled of some type of smoke and mirrors hahahah.

I could only qote what I have heard from the top Generals our military is capable in of fighting another war with Korea, problem is resources and poersonal are spreado to thin that it would realisticly take us 3 months to strategicly move our forces into ready combat against Korea. Thats not good.

This is a different situation where Saddam didnt initiate at least to what we know now and a communist leader telling us who cares about Nato law and if we do anything to disrupt there import of weapons etc. they declare war. Im not saying lets go ahead and jump in the war wagon but this is a current threat that should have been dealt with in the Bush administration when he bluffed us 3-4 times.

the entire issue with north Korea is another example of whats FUBAR with this world, seems everyone who has nuclear weapons wants flex their muscles, problem is with a unstable government like North Korea has, do we as a people , and not just the U.S.A, but all country's sit back and let the threat multiply or do we stand up and take a stand?
I really don't think its a United States issue since we are not in a direct line of missile launch range, but as a strong nation we need to be supportive to the other nations that may or may not be affected by North Korea`s actions,

i do believe they were banned from any nuclear agenda but snubbed their noses and went ahead with their testing and launch anyway, its the entire U.N that is weak as a whole, seems no body wants to man up over there and put the man power into shutting down North Korea,
I mean they kicked out all inspectors so whats that tell the U.N about any sanctions that are being threatened .. like T.O said, its probably not going to be a man war, but a full scale assault via missiles and bombs.. why can this war issue never be at a end?

Keep in mind almost 3 million people died in the last Korea war, over 30k were Americans, starting a war with Korea isn't going just going to be a bombing mission, you just can't fly over a country and kill everyone.

They'll have certain targets they take out by air, but in any war in history there is always a ground war and that is where it will get ugly. Simply put, they out number our entire military by more than double. Of course something has to be done, but hopefully it is not war.

Funding 2 wars at once will beat down on our economy big time. Problem is the person running North Korea is insane, political assassination sounds about right

GM is filing for bankruptcy and a lot of people are going to lose jobs. Supposedly GM will emerge a new, better company. In the mean time I am curious what happens to all the jobless people.

Big stimulus package doesn't seem to be helping and a lot of the money given out seems like those companies are not any better off.

Which big company is next to go under?

I don't just worry about N. Korea, it's the China, Iran, Russia aliied combo that bothers me. Russia has a ton of nukes, that I am sure they will be more than happy to sell at a price, combine that with a long range missile and we have a problem.

If we do have a war with them and China or Iran or Russia is involved we're looking at WWIII.
