It looks like to me you are Sergio's #1 fan. I thought My dad and I were, but that makes my dad and I Sergio's 2nd and 3rd biggest fan. I will post some of my pics that I have of Sergio. Thanks. Sergio and Arnold were great. I read a story that when Arnold beat Sergio to win his first Mr. Olympia title, Sergio felt that Weider cheated him because it was that close and Sergio said that it was because he was black. I don't think it was a race issue. The competition between those two guys always came down to the wire. After that Mr. Olympia, I recall Sergio leaving the IFBB and going to the international contests where he dominated year after year during the 70's. If Sergio had stayed with the IFBB, both Sergio and Arnold would have been placing #1 & #2 back and forth in the Mr. Olympia contest during the 70's. Guys like Columbo, Nebret, Zane, Ferrigno etc. would have placed #3 and below every year. I truly believe the reason Arnold was so cool, easy going and confident (as you can see how relaxed, cool and confident he was in the Pumping Iron video) before every major contest including the Mr. Olympia was because he knew Sergio was not with the IFBB and Sergio was his only threat and competition that Arnold had. Even Sergio knew that. I take nothing away from Arnold, he will go down as one of the best ever if not the best ever bodybuilder of all time. He earned every single Mr. Olympia. This is just my opinion and I consider Sergio and Arnold the two best bodybuilders of all time.

I asked Ronnie Coleman who does he consider to be the three best bodybuilders of all time and this is what he told me in order:

1) Lee Haney
2) Him (Ronnie Coleman)
3) Sergio & Arnold a tie

Even the great Ronnie Coleman knows that Sergio and Arnold were great.

Well, I see this is a shrine to an *******. As his body WAS GREAT, but his atttude is ****ty, and I make sure that I say it publicly on all forms, as I would say it in his face next time I see the *******. He was great and he was a threat, but I wonder if his conceit, and pomp had anything to do with him not winning? Flame me or hate me but I have met him once, and seen him at events, and each time he makes it a point not to speak to other people of color. And if you know his son he is lighter, and thats all Im going to say on that, and I have doner a poll with other competitiors of color who have met this *******, and they say the same thing, he does not speak nor act like people of color matter to him. I have no respect for a man who publicly disrespects his African Roots, and acts like his **** does not stink, after respect is paid to him. Well carry one paying respect to him, and his PASSED legacy

Hi. Well I'm sorry for what happened to you when you met Sergio. Yes I have seen his son and he is lighter in color. I have spoken to some of his friends and they did say that he was a bit uptight and kept to himself in his competition days but they also say that he realized some of things he used to do and that he is a changed person now. Again I'm sorry you had to experience that. I too would of felt like you stated above.

My question is, have you met Arnold, Zane, Columbo, ****erson, Banout, Haney, Yates or even Coleman? Don't you respect any of these guys for their accomplishments and for what they have done for this sport? How do you know any of these guys are a$$holes or not? I don't know any of them personally, but If I had gone through your experience which you did when you met Sergio, I still would pay respect for what they acheived.

I do not feel flamed at all, Oh yes I would pay them respect, but you have pointed out the point of this thread, to pay respect, and I do respect him and his past acomplishments. Thats why i wanted to meet him, and pay him respect, my exact words were to my wife :"this is the Man who shut Arnold down, the man that had Arnie scared" anywa besides the point, I respect his body, but do not respect him as a person. As for the past olympians Doriain is a great guy, took a pic and all, and was very nice even though in hurry. Coleman was cool and exhausted, but never acted like an *******. All in all Serge has a great frame, but ****ty attitude.
