Years ago, I think this grocery list was the first thing I read when I began eating healthy. It really gives you an idea of what types of foods you should stick with, and what to avoid.

my food cost me a lil more than 400$ canadian a month....and am thinking 2 add more food....

heres what i get.

meats

2-4 packages of chicken
3-5 packages of steak
2-4 packages of pork chops
10-12 lbs of ground beef
5-10 lbs of ground turkey
10lbs of bacon
5-10lbs of sausage
2-4 dozen eggs

other stuff
3-5 homestyle bakes
condiment crap
corn
green beans
10lb bag of potatos
3-5 boxes of mashed potatos
3-5 boxes of stuffing
4-10 boxes of rice
2-4 1 1/2 lb stews
2-5 family size soups
10 cans of tuna
10 cans of chicken
5 cans of turkey
2 jars of peanut butter
10 t.v. dinners
10-20 burrito and other junk food lol

thats someof what i get each month theres more just dont feel like typing the rest.

Thanks for that, man. I have not seen a really good list anywhere. While most of the stuff is common sense, it doesn't hurt to have this sitting on the fridge when you're making the grocery list for the week.

Perfect list! (well for me) There are things on there that would be great for both competetive and non-competetive bodybuilders! Also, this list will help me get leaner, which in turn will help me run, which will get me back on the rugby field in no time! Thanks man!

It's alot easier to just buy the egg whites in the carton. It might be slightly more expensive, but it's worth it.

Great list....i posted a diet in the logs section asking for suggestions....printed the list but i think i follow it pretty close....thanks for the help i'm sure everyone uses it....
