Ok well just about a week ago I finished my cut diet and right after my cut diet I quickly went into my bulk diet I obviously ate way more, OK anyways at the end of my cut diet I ended up weighing 228lbs and right now I'm a week into my bulk diet I weight about 232lbs I put on about 4lbs in a week and was wondering if this is because I quickly got into my bulk diet right away instead of picking up my calorie intake little by little?

more than likely its because of the rebound effect from coming off a low carb intake while cutting, much of it is probably water retention,

No worries unless it continues for several weeks, 1 week of extra weight is usually fluid fluctuations like mike said.

If weight gain is rapid then the reverse is true. It is water retention from the extra carbohydrates. I covered this in a post a few months ago, read it and you'll be set.
