Hey, so I'm 17 right now, I've been lifting since I was about 14, but actually started lifting "wisely" for about a month or two. Before, I completely ignored nutrition and diet, and just loaded up on creatine, which I was taking for about 5 or 6 months. Right now I want to start cutting, I'm 230 right now, and i wanna get down to around 200 so I can bulk up again.

I've stopped taking creatine, and now I'm on an NO product that doesn't have any creatine (it's called White Flood). I changed up my routine a little bit. I'm doing dropsets for almost all of my exercises, 8-12 reps. But I really need to figure out a diet to stick to. I want to get cut, but also maintain, if not maximize, my strength. Any suggestions?

so, ive been looking at some of the diets people have been posting, and i came up with this.

Breakfast
6 hardboiled eggs (5 without yolk, 1 whole)
or
oatmeal with banana

Lunch
I'm kind of stuck here, i get food at the caffeteria at my high school...they have chicken wraps there, so i'll probably just stick to those

Snack
apple with half cup of almonds

Preworkout
tuna on whole grain crackers

Postworkout
protein shake

Dinner
Chicken
or
Tuna
or
Salmon
w/ brown rice and green veggies

Snack
cottage cheese

i know this is really basic, but i want to make sure im doing it right. also, a lot of the guys that posted cutting diets are around 180 lbs. i dont know if that makes a difference in diet programs with me cutting at 230 lbs.

You'll need to get some idea of how many calories you are taking in. Losing weight is ultimately a matter of achieving a negative calorie balance.

On a cutting diet I would stay away from fruits. Also your suppose to be eating 6-8 small meals a day about 300 grams of protein , carbs around 150 , fats around 70 ish and calories around 2500, this is just an estimate because I was also 230 when I was cutting. You may wanna research a little more and also you have to make sure you count the calories carbs fats etc...
