Decided to make a thread to see everyone's chicken creations.

I usually just buy some marinade from the store and mix it with the chicken for a couple of hours. Lemon pepper is my favorite.

I just started using the crock pot as well. Put about 2 lbs of chicken at the bottom that had some Mrs. Dash. Put one whole chopped onion and multiple cloves of garlic. Put some water in there and let it roast for 8 hours. Sooooo good.

I don't have a grill at school :( I wish I could have one, but drunk people seem to think it's awesome to ruin stuff that you have on your back porch, so I don't even bother.

Do you marinate it at all when you grill?

chicken breast shredded,(pre cooked)rolled in whole grain 6-8" tortillas,in a baking pan,blend fat free sour cream and fat free cream of mush soup and throw in some chopped jalapenos from a jar and 1 fresh jalapeno ..pour over the tortillas in the pan and bake til hot..easy and soo good..even better with eggs in the morning

I brine my chicken. For every quart about 1/2 cup of kosher or roughly 1/4 a cup of salt for about 2-3 hours. Adds a ton of flavor, the meat is juicier.

I also marinate my meat, salt, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic and pepper.

Just had me some crock pot chicken myself.. Chicken, green beans +ham, and some brown rice.. 2 meals out of my 6.. I also like to get lean roast from the store and throw it in with some red potatoes, and green beans.

Chicken & pasta mix meals are awesome too..

I like lemon and pepper too...I like the lemon and pepper rub (its a powder) and mix that in some olive oil. throw that on top of some chicken breast and slap it on the george foreman. Keep some of the lemon and pepper mixed up in olive oil and throw it on the chicken about halfway through cooking and it will keep it really juicy. I suggest buying the boneless skinless indiv. wrapped chicken breast at costco.

Baked/Grilled Chicken with seasoning
MOntreal Chicken
Emarlds Bayou Chicken
LemonPepper

Grilled Chicken if I am not making a lot, when i cook alot i bake it.

iF I have thin cut breast I will fry them in Macadamian Nut Oil with the LemonPepper seasoning, good stuff.

Would like to start using a crock pot though, seems like you could get some good, keto freindly tastey stuff out of it.

yah I just like it because I can grab 3 out of the freezer throw em in the fridge in the morning and they are thawed out ready to cook...also all the juices are kept in making it very moist when u cook it up.

i pre cook 10 chicken peices on the sunday that will do me for 5 days at work. 2 pieces a day then i will either buy the turkey, salmon, sirloin steak or more chicken and cook it fresh in the evening

On Sundays at work I have a big egg meal before work and then 5 7oz chicken meals with veggies, but I only do that once a week right now. So i get in about 35oz of chicken lol that day, usually more cuz they are always .2 .3 ozs over 7

Actually have 10 oz per serving. I have variety don't worry. Tuna, ground turkey, eggs, all the good stuff

variety will def help you stick with it. I have to cut out all shakes on friday and have 1 eeg meal 2 steak meals and 4 chicken meals.Ill be laying ****ing eggs when this is all over!!

Just made this last night turned out pretty good.

Southwestern Chicken Marinade:
Yogurt (plain low fat)
Chilli Powder
Peprika
Red Pepper Flakes
Mrs Dash Southwestern
Salt
Pepper

Poke holes in the chicken with fork. In a bowl combine the marinade ingredients (make sure to have enough yogurt to cover the chicken). The seasoning amounts i just kind of guessed. Let marinate for at least 1 hour. It turned out great.
