is exactly my question for today. If i happen to have watery stools but not to the point of diarrhoea, does that mean that i have not fully digested and utilized all the nutrients in the food that i take? Will it cause me to "watse" the food that i eat?

i eat very clean but occasionally when i have a cheat meal,it seems to not be able to digest that meal well and i end up having watery stools the day after and it may even continue for a few more days...
and i was afraid that all my meals taken after my cheat meals especially my post workout meal are not digested fully...

It only takes 30 minutes for most meals to digest. What kind of cheat meals give you this? Is it anything outside of your diet or what. Fast foods do this kind of thing to a lot of people.

I doubt it will tamper with any of your other meals but if it's giving you unhealthy looking waste then I'd stop and switch to different types of cheats.

How long has this been going on for??

If its just one day i wouldn't worry too much about it, if it becomes frequent or is already a regular occurrence then it may be time to look deeper

typically you want to have a cheat meal after a workout, so that it doesn't affect your actually lifts, but it depends on the person.

if you eat pretty clean, then this will most likely happen since your body isn't used to the texture and what not of the "cheat" meal.

It can be affected by what you eat, what you drink with meals, and how much fluid you intake per day, activity level etc. You'd have to do as others have suggested and note what you ate/drank and your activity level and trend it to see if anything changes. If the stool is just "squishier" and not an "off" color it's usually a fluid level fluctuation in your body.

Staying hydrated is good, but just taking in a flat amount of fluid is not as good.

For example if it is an excessively hot day, and you do a tough workout the fluid level in your body is drastically different with that gallon of water, than on a colder day in which you may be "resting" and still drink that gallon of water.

Your hydration levels WILL fluctuate based on heat/activity level and to some extent the foods you eat, any caffeine, medications etc. You may have to adjust your intake based on each day's factors.
