as the title says. i have 2.5kg of hydro whey for post w/o fast absorbtion.

with water it tastes absaloutely awful so i have started to mix with about 150ml of oj. is this going to make any difference to the absorbtion of the whey?

also i take a scoop of hydro and a scoop of normal flavoured whey protien as part of my brekfast mixed with water. the choc just manages to sweeten it a little and make it drinkable.

am i making any mistakes with this mix?

otherwise my pre workout shake is 56g choc milk whey wixed in water.

Hmmm I'm not sure about with OJ but I know with milk it will slow the rate of absorption. I'm gonna assume the OJ won't slow it any, but I'm not completely sure. Maybe someone else will chime in on the matter.

i think the ph in the OJ is the issue, i believe that the pH of citric acid is about 3-4 and stomach acid is about 1-2, but i think that it depends on how long you let the OJ and protein sit mixed before you drink it that would cause any denaturing effects if any of the protein,,
