I know green tea is a good drink to have without any added sugars, but is there such thing as too much? I've been drinking about 6 cups of green tea a day because a flavored liquid helps keep my mind off of other foods.

Nope, I dont believe theres a problem with green tea, I have it alot also. It has around half the amount of caffeine of coffee so its a good alternative.

Yeah but his question is is there such thing as to much. Yes. even more so if your nor drinking enough water. Greent tea some good stuff, however you need to be aware that it does have caffeine and certain people react different to stimulants. So 6 cups may be to much for you might not. Also Caffeine is a diurectic so while your drinking the stuff you can become dehydrated if your not consuming enough water.

Hence why I said I dont believe there is a prob with green tea but very true you must consume other liquids to ensure adequate hydration. There are some side affects but its more for women who are pregnant as green tea contains caffeine, catechins and tannic acids which have been linked to pregnancy risks if you want to get technical.

I don't have a problem with water consumption. Just when I get tired of it, I'll down a bottle of the tea. Thanks for the replies.
