Being new to all this dieting, I am wondering if drinking one gallon a day will really help build your abs, and help with the weight loss? or it is just a saying that it only just improves your health and digest your system?

Water is not going to build abs.

When it comes to weight loss it has no calories or any additive in it, well maybe some stuff if you are drinking form the tap, but nothing that is going to add excess calories.. It is also going to help you feel fuller when you start restricting calories.
And it does help remove/detox your body. For example, When you are taking in a lot of protein, it can be taxing on your kidneys, water helps clear them out and keeps things moven

Lol no water doesn't build abs, neither does endless crunches. Drinking a gallon a day is the minimum for an athlete to maintain overall health and hydration.

High protein intake and kidney damage aren't usually connected. I could only see kidney damage happening from chronic overeating of protein for years. If there's an article or something that you've read that says different I'd be interested in reading it.

High protein is only detrimental to already damaged kidneys. Functional kidneys can handle high protein just fine.
