good post stalion!

yes it really helps staying hydrated. its also essential for the body, since the muscles are pretty much made of water.
also, with all the protein we consume in our diets, it can do a little damage to our kidneys so water is the best way to counter that effect....

Drink boy! Think of it like this. The more water you take in the less you hold and the better you look... go drink!

god damn i duno how u guys can drink so much. Not even all the liquids I drink in a day equal up to a gallon but I will try. So putting that sugar free flavoring for water doesnt defeat the purpose of drinking plain water? Its water either way right?

Haha. I guess i just love water.
Adding Flavors doesn't defeat the purpose one bit. Think about it you put 2 table spoons of flavored powder in a gallon of water..
You still have the water right?

On the whole, if you add anything to water, it is no longer water. Coffee is 99.8% water, but you can't drink coffee all day to stay hydrated. If you add anything, it doesn't do exactly what water does for hydrating and cleansing.

Almost forgot...I drink a gallon+ every day. I don't see how you can't. I drink a quart or more at work each day. I drink 2 quarts while working out. And I also drink water throughout the day...so I hit a gallon easily.

A gallon is simple to drink a day. 3 meals with 16 oz each = 48 oz. Preworkout protein drink in water 16 oz = 64 oz. Drinking in between sets and post workout creatine drink 1/2 gallon more = 128 oz. That's not even counting before bed or early morning that you can drink more water.

Jesse 5 gallons is crazy and way too much. You are putting yourself at risk for electrolyte deficiencies. I would suggest 2/day at most when you are on a bulk.
