I mix grits with egg whites and turkey bacon in the morning...delicious! :)

They are a ground up portion of corn kernals. It looks kinda like really fine cous cous. Just a grain made from corn. Don't quote me on this but Im pretty sure they are higher GI than oatmeal so they might not be quite as good but I know that they are a good clean carb source. Especially in the morning. Its at least a good change of pace from boring ass oatmeal.

grits should be ok just dont put butter and sugar and shit in them whoch basically is what makes them taste good but as far as i know they good to eat for carbs

Ohhhh those. Yeah they're good I'm not sure if they're fast or slow digesting just basically if they're slow digesting have them in the morning along with something fast digesting liike a white bagel. And yeah now that I think about it judging by the higher fiber content I'd guess that they are slow digesting.

They are faster burning than oatmeal but a good replacement depending on your goal and if you getting ready for a show or not, I put splenda and that spray butter in them along with eggs and turkey bacon, also when bulking I'll add some fat free shreded cheese......They are off the hook!!!!!!
