I read an article about this stuff about a month ago, and was impressed by the claims it made. So I got a jar of them, i'm going to start popping over the next couple of days. Just wondering has anyone tried them and what did they find? Any input appreciated. (relevant)

Chitosan is a compound derived from the skeletons of shrimp, crabs and lobster. It has been promoted for weight loss because it can bind fatty acids. Most studies were done on animals and not humans. From what I've read its a pretty pointless supplement in what it is said to do. Only benefit is if you take upwards of 4gs a day it might lower your cholsterol.

Have been finding that theres certainly plenty of fibre in it.
