Even though I've learned a lot about powerlifting bodybuilding and overall muscle building I still have a few questions. Most of them are nutritional so I figure this is the best spot for this.
1) What are examples of some good sources of "good" cholesterol?
2) I heard that egg yolks have bad cholesterol in them so why do people eat them?
3) Will nitric oxide actually help me get stronger with the nutrients it give the muslces or just vainier.

4) Does moving up in weight, say 30lbs-10 40lbs-8 50lbs-6, work the muscles any better than moving down like 50lbs-6 40lbs-8 30lbs-10. Or is it just a good way to switch it up?

5) What are the best things to eat after a workout and how long after, I've heard 30 minutes after or sooner. I know that you need fast digesting carbs and protein. But what are some examples of those?

6) Are meats like fish beef pork chicken ect. fast or slow digesting... what about eggs?

7) Does frequent sexual activity effect testosterone levels?

These are some questions I've been thinking about for a while now so if anyone could help with these it would be greatly appreciated.

1) What are examples of some good sources of "good" cholesterol?
no idea sorry
2) I heard that egg yolks have bad cholesterol in them so why do people eat them?
it's the most nutritious part of the egg. everything in moderation bro.
3) Will nitric oxide actually help me get stronger with the nutrients it give the muslces or just vainier.
NO does little for strength. what give you strength that is in most NO products is the creatine. they are more for energy and pumps/focus.
4) Does moving up in weight, say 30lbs-10 40lbs-8 50lbs-6, work the muscles any better than moving down like 50lbs-6 40lbs-8 30lbs-10. Or is it just a good way to switch it up?
always ask yourself if you're really feeling it. if you don't really feel the exersise working, chances are, it's not. switching it up is a good way to keep your muslces in shock. in time, if you're really in tune with your body like i am, you will learn to use the force, i mean, your instincts when working out. this is what makes a good bodybuilder a good....um.....bodybuilder. he is very in tuned with his own body and knows exactly how to fine tune his workouts/nutrition just right by following his instincts.
5) What are the best things to eat after a workout and how long after, I've heard 30 minutes after or sooner. I know that you need fast digesting carbs and protein. But what are some examples of those?
i like to have a whey shake after a workout immediatly or as soon as humanly possible. then, about 1-2 hours later, i have my meal which will consist of something like white rice and chicken breast.
6) Are meats like fish beef pork chicken ect. fast or slow digesting... what about eggs?
digestion really has a lot to do with how much fat there is in the food. fat delays digestion. the proteins you have mention i believe DO have different digestion rates. however, i'm unsure as to how fast they digest.
7) Does frequent sexual activity effect testosterone levels?
very controvercial subject. everyone will tell you something different. IMO, it might effect it in some way, shape, or form

These are some questions I've been thinking about for a while now so if anyone could help with these it would be greatly appreciated.
that's all i got bro.

you got some VERY good questions there bro. some of which i do not know the answers to and look forward to somebody else answering to this thread.

The sex question is ridiculous. If sex is keeping you from getting sleep then maybe yes. If you are doing it any other time of the day then NO. As far as cholesterol goes...I think just having good cholesterol levels in the body is whats important. In fact...you aren't 40...So why are your worried? If you eat like a bodybuilder then you are a thousand years ahead of mainstream society and aging issues.

1) What are examples of some good sources of "good" cholesterol?

Items with lots of soluble fibre can help reduce LDL cholesterol (the "bad" cholesterol). Onions can help increase HDL cholesterol (the "good cholesterol"). Do note though that recent studies found cholesterol levels are 80-90% genetic, 10-20% habit.

2) I heard that egg yolks have bad cholesterol in them so why do people eat them?

Well, cholesterol from foods has not been proven to have a direct significant effect on body cholesterol. So, for the most part, whole eggs are fine.

3) Will nitric oxide actually help me get stronger with the nutrients it give the muslces or just vainier.

Like ibanezman said. The creatine will add some extra strength/size, at least whilst your on a cycle. Permanent gains from creatine are a bit of a grey area, some do, some don't.

4) Does moving up in weight, say 30lbs-10 40lbs-8 50lbs-6, work the muscles any better than moving down like 50lbs-6 40lbs-8 30lbs-10. Or is it just a good way to switch it up?

Typically, people prefer to warmup on lighter weights (joints, tendons, muscles, mental focus) and go heavier as the sets progress. Simply switching it up will not make a world of difference on it's own but if it helps you progress onto lifting more (1 more rep with same weight, 1lb more on the bar), then by all means keep doing it.

5) What are the best things to eat after a workout and how long after, I've heard 30 minutes after or sooner. I know that you need fast digesting carbs and protein. But what are some examples of those?

A disputed subject. The study I read found protein uptake was highest 1-3 hours after a workout and was at it's worst directly after the workout. Yet, others seem to find directly after or before the workout was best. To be honest, it's a very small part of the puzzle IMHO. You decide. You can have skimmed milk, some unrefined sugar and, if need be, some protein as a PWO.

6) Are meats like fish beef pork chicken ect. fast or slow digesting... what about eggs?

All protein foods (especially the high fat ones) are relatively slow digesting.

7) Does frequent sexual activity effect testosterone levels?

Don't know but if they get some gorgeous girls, I'll happily volunteer for that study
Answers in bold. Hope that helps matey!

cosign with demon knights. that's not an issue to you, nor should it be.
2) I heard that egg yolks have bad cholesterol in them so why do people eat them?they also have a lot of beneficial nutrients in them, and like ibanez said, moderation bro.
3) Will nitric oxide actually help me get stronger with the nutrients it give the muslces or just vainier.
a lot of people feel weaker actually on NO due to a quicker and more pronounced pump, leaded inevitably to failure at less reps, but it could lead to better fiber stimulation. as far as strength, it's not going to make your stronger but if you're taking a preworkout matrix, the creatine will.
4) Does moving up in weight, say 30lbs-10 40lbs-8 50lbs-6, work the muscles any better than moving down like 50lbs-6 40lbs-8 30lbs-10. Or is it just a good way to switch it up?
i say for size purposes, it def would, due to the warmup aspect and the pump, as your pump gets more pronounced and therefore, so does you're ability to rep highly, jack the weight up so you're getting the most efficient work out of your muscles, but that's my opinion to be taken with a grain of salt. though when dieting a very well may do a pyramid a little more digressive than progressive. still with warm up sets though, the weight would just go up then come back down for insane rep ranges.
5) What are the best things to eat after a workout and how long after, I've heard 30 minutes after or sooner. I know that you need fast digesting carbs and protein. But what are some examples of those?
i take waxy maize(extremely quickly digested carbohydrate for glycogen replinishment) and whey(quickly digested protein) about 10-20min after, and around 1hr to an 1hr and a half i eat chickenbreast or a fish source(salmon, ect) with a baked potatoe and english peas(Cuz i love english peas) because you can't beat whole food pwo. i use to just go home and eat, but i've found this combo more effective.
6) Are meats like fish beef pork chicken ect. fast or slow digesting... what about eggs?
they are much more slowly digested then say whey is, but that can be said for most protein sources. eggs, i have heard, are a little more quickly digested then animal sources (meats) but thats just hearsay.
7) Does frequent sexual activity effect testosterone levels?
i have no idea. if so, i hope it's beneficial, because i would've been getting cheated.
i find that fucking after a workout (avoiding back and leg day) gives me more stamina, but idk. i've alwayz tried not before a workout for fear of getting in that post orgasm chill zone. haha.
idk though.
hopefully zir red may have read sumthin on it.

These are some questions I've been thinking about for a while now so if anyone could help with these it would be greatly appreciated.
that's my .02

OK I think I have a better understanding of all these things now, thanks everyone. The reason why I ask about cholesterol is because I read that "cholesterol is the building block of testosterone". If that's true then I thought that I should start eating more cholesterol. I've been on creatine somewhat unknowningly for 4 months and it will be 5 is that too long? I plan on stopping taking it after what I have now is gone.
