cheapest foods out there can also be the healthiest i think. such as Eggs,Tuna, sometimes Chicken, and Lean Beef.

Carbs, Pasta,Rice,Potatos.

add some peanut butter in the AM

the fastest meal i find i can eat would be a Gainer shake or Spaghetti. Whole wheat pasta 2 cups worth and lean beef.

i would also add protein to your meal before the gym aswell

1.5g x body weight in Protein
2-3g x body weight in Carbs
.5g for fat.

i would stick with a shake just after your workout, thats when your body is most primed to absorb nutrients, take in a good complex carb and some food protein pre.

def. add some bananas to your protein shake along with oatmeal and peanut butter. there are cheap ways to making your own weight gainers. shakes are going to help you build the mass. you can carry them anywhere and can make them as carb dense as you want.

where you say you can't think of anything, get a protein shake in there.
is that pasta whole grain? if not, IMO, it should be.

what's your weight, bodyfat, and calorie intake on this bulk cycle?

lean beef ain't that cheap bro! hahahahaha just pickin' on ya

why peanut butter in the am? shouldn't that be before bed? pb would delay digestion due to fat content.

a gainer would be better for that fast meal if he can afford it. good thinking.

IMO, if he's natural, he only needs .8-1g of protein like allstar said. just my opinion that's all. and then up that carbs. but if he's an endomorph, that's a different story.

that's the first time anybody has said anything less than 1g for protein. and i totally agree. sometimes, you don't even NEED 1g per lbs.
