ok well i did the ketone test and it said im at a trace of ketosis. i readjusted my cals from what i was doing wrong. Im day 3 into it right now.

my current cals are 1454
114 is my lean mass, im at 22% BF.
114g protein and 110 fat.

I thought I would be deeper in by now. The question is im getting in like 2-3 cups of lettuce a day. Could that be keeping me out?

Don't depend on the strips, waste of money really. How much water you've had in a day can dilute or concentrate your ketone levels depending on how much water you drink.

lettuce romaine, water i get in about a gallon. is that ckd approved list ok to follow?

how bad can lettuce, veggies be when trying to get to ketosis?
how many days until ketosis can be reached?
is their things that hinder ketosis?

nah that lettuce shouldnt throw you off it only has:
23.4mg Glucose
48 mg of fructose

everything that is ckd approved. but mostly avocado, eggs, almonds. dressings. fish oil. cheese. some bacon. little bits like in a salad.

Since my carb ups are sat/sun, I weigh in Saturday morning after morning glory.

And do your mind a favor and stay off the scale until your weigh in day. Nothing is more crushing jumping on after 2 days expecting to see the slightest hint of a weight drop and you gain a pound or 2.
