I'm at 8-7.5% bf and I was wondering if a ketogenic diet would allow me to get to about 5 or 6 bf. also I understand there is a carb reload for 2 days. is there any special amount you should consume or is it a free for all. also on the carb days is it safe to assume that one must keep the dietary fat down unlike the other 5 days.

wut my friend did and it worked was 3 days slim to no carbs
and the the fourth day was a "carb up" day, which was as minimal an ammount of carbs as a typical carb depletion.

he is heavier set guy tho so for you idk

just offering a baseline.

yea it shits on your training but like i said it worked for my friend.
ive found starting sodium manipulation a little early seems to be popular for people who get run down from carb depletion.
we all know how hard it is to get a pump without carbs, but the sodium pumps are better than nothing. and by the time you start pulling out sodium you are about to or already are picking your carbs back up so its one method of saving your pump close to the show.

.9-1 grams of protein per a pound of body weight per a day, 20-30 carbs, and the rest in fat to determine your weight loss. It takes three days to get into ketosis, so I wouldn't suggest that you carb load after the three days. When you carb load get about 4.5 grams of carbs per a pound that you weigh for the first day, then half that the second day.

Your top lifts will taper down a little, but your 10-12 range will probably remain the same.
