Hi, have been cutting for a about 3-4 months now, I've seen some good results, but the progress has slowed enormously down, it feels like my metabolism is now in such a slow state, that if I don't stick 100 % to my diet, I will gain additional body fat at an extremely fast pace.
The thing is, that in 12 days I'm going to a festival for 8 days, and then on another one 3 days after the first ends. I know I will not be able to eat clean during these 2 occasions, and I don't really intend to either, BUT... In order to gain the least amount of fat during this period, what shall I then aim for? Shall I stay on my low carb cutting diet until the festivals start off, or shall i try to raise my metabolism in the days leading up to the festivals, by jumping into a bulk phase??
Its a major dilemma to me, so I really need some advice...

Why do you have to cheat at the festival? Tell people you are full..

My advice is if you must cheat keep the portions small and blunt all the sugar with some healthy fat. If its alcohol please refrain or take it really slow but I wouldn't chance it on a cut. If you feel out of place not drinking bring a colored bottle and put water or something in and nobody will know the difference. Hope this helps! Good luck.

The things is, my daily diet is very strict and controlled, I intend to go more or less by what "normal" people do during festivals (involving bad food and alchohol), I know this will be in opposition to anything optimal in a diet, I just need to know if it would be better to raise my calorie intake before entering, or if I should stay clean for as long as possible...
