whats up everyone...I've been looking through alot of the theards on here and people are talking about Ketosis?..."where fats seems liek it falls off"...?...what is it? Alot of you prolly already know my goals by now. I'm at 23.4% BF....I'd liek to get down to around 10.I've been training 6 days a week and doing cardio 5 days a week.I follow the diet all you guys helped me create....And after 3 weeks I'm still at 23.4% I've read other posts where people lose 10% or more in 3 months?...I wanna know what I'm doing wrong..

The only carbs I eat are my oatmeal for breakfast, and some honey after my workout. The rest is Tuna,Lean Beef,Steaks,Chicken.I drink nothing but water also.I'm just kinda down cause I haven;t seen any difference in my BF level.I have seen increases in strength and muscle mass but not the change I expected with my BF

I just wanna know how i can speed up my BF loss

the main thing is to have calories out exceed the calories in. if i understand the ketosis diet its high protein and fat and little to no carbs except one day a week. the lack of carbs will help burn fat fast. i am pretty sure thats in a nut shell what it does. if you google ckd diet or ketosis diet you should find some good info.

20 grm. of carb or less per day but this will really drain your energy till your body gets use to it. Thomas rivera has done the most research on it that I know of on the board maybe shoot him a PM

You're trying to take as little carbs as possible, the only place carbs are supposed to come from when your on a keto diet are from hidden source, via. veggies. in other words the carbs u take, u got them unintentionally.

Theres no absolute standard for ketosis. To get into ketosis you would need to get down to 20-30 carbs a day. That will put you into ketosis. Some people manage to stay into ketosis at higher carb levels even. Some people carb load two days (like myself) or 1 day, or just 12 hour cram.

The whole idea is to get as little carbs required to keep your body in ketosis, where you will oxidize fat and use ketones for the primary source of energy as opposed to carb energy. You can have green leafy vegetables as long as you keep the carb intake (you don't include dietary fiber) under that limit to keep yourself in ketosis.

in the end it depends on which fruits you're taking.. go to the following site, and search up the fruits and veges your thinking of putting into your diet Nutrition facts, calories in food, labels, nutritional information and analysis – NutritionData.com

they're highly accurate and detailed about it. just make sure when you're looking at w/e vege or fruit, that you put the "Servings" in the correct amount. (e.g. if your gunna search up apples, click on the servings tab and set it to 1medium size apple or w/e size it is, so u know almost exactly what that apple contains)

If your going to have carbs during ketosis, don't make fruits a large portion of them, sure they raise glycogen levels but it's in the liver.

Cosign. 60% of the carbs from fruits are fructose.

Hidden carbs are carbs that aren't reported on packaging, when you have something like 1 calorie worth of carbs they won't post a 1/4th of a carb usually.
