First, pure sugars, like Equal or any other sugar/sweetener is largely made up of aspartame, then maltodextrin and dextrose. However, the amount of maltodextrin and dextrose is minimal for any carb counts to form.
Second, table sugar is composed of sucrose. Another reason why this option is ineffective. Sucrose is 1 glucose molecule and 1 fructose molecule; fructose
restores liver glycogen, not muscle (transported through facilitated diffusion).
Or...are you using another sweetener? You have NOTHING that will suit what's needed pwo?
