it does work well, im using it now. however, it only works as good as your diet is.

what are the macro totals for your diet?

the excess protein you intake gets converted in to simple carbs and stored as bf you like zack said you dont want to intake more than the body can absorbe the extra some of it gets pissed out and some of it gets stored as bf so you should watch how much you protein you take in per meal

With whey if you add fat to it like a tbs of olive oil it will break down slowly so it will be like casein if you cant get your hands on that

^while it may break down more slowly, it still won't equal casein.

If you want the slowest possible absorption overnight, you would use casein and tbsp of olive oil. That is what I use and it works for me at least.

my last shake before bed is about 30G Protien, with 150G of 1% cottage cheese's

My Only Cardio is 10mins warmup before lifting, 15mins after lifting and a 20block run/walk about 1 hour before bed.

im tryin to keep my Protien as high as possible, i don't want to lose any size, even if it takes me longer lose this fat. I already see a difference in my lifting, im still stong, but not as much. i could bench 315, now im at about 280/285 with almost 60G less carbs aday.

i think anougher reason people see bigger losses when on a fat burner is because there at a point and are like ok time to get in shape/cut/whatever. so they start taking the fatburner but also they clean up there diet, do more cardio, probably hit the gym more and this is more the reason for the big loses. not talking about you specifically, just my thought. its just some people are like whoa i lost 30p well dont just giev all the credit to the pill.

yes! that is a great point, I myself have been on a nice build diet for like a year, i've got some nice size and its just time to cut down. I just started taken the pill to help give me that little extra boost, but i know its all in the true diet.

Im still 40lbs over weight, i wanna be 220-230 and then go on another heavy bult run and stay around 240-250 of man machine!

i know casein cant be beat but i mean when you cant get to casein u can use that sometimes you gotta work with what you have you cant have all the luxury
~also when you cut down you lose some muscle so you'll deff see some loses thats why pros get so big so they have muscle to lose on their cutting phase just look at phil heath last year before the arnold he lost too much muscle the last 2 weeks and lost and look at him this year

This synopsis is inaccurate.

Fat, as briefly stated, delays digestion digestion of any nutrient combined with it, whether it be protein or carbs. Digestion occurs in the small intestine while a very limited amount is absorbed directly into the bloodstream, following into the liver.

Furthermore, sufficient 97% of the fat metabolized, resulting in the lengthy process (depending on bile levels).

Now, casein protein is broken down slower and, the same, is absorbed at a slower rate. When acidity is added, the further the casein reacts.

Only down fall would be the fat to carbs ratio.

Both work correspondingly, so like justlift said, adding the two together before bed would be a a beast idea. The digestion/absorption between the two macronutrients are different.

Why would you need a whey before bed as last resort. Let's focus on specific strategy and proper way of going about things then going to last resorts. Yes, olive oil is fine, because of its omega-6 content.

A better resort would be going with ANY lean meat or even eggs here instead of whey protein. Whey protein is the fasting digesting protein source we have. I understand why ur getting a little frustrated here because your idea makes sense at its core, but ANY lean meat is a better option here from everything i understand. Fish would be an excellent choice as a pre-bed protein/fat source.

Someone who is serious about nutrition should ALWAYS have a protein source that digests slow than whey by itself. Add olive oil or peanut butter or whatever to this meal.

Also, excess protein is hard to calculate. Just like how most multi-vitamins have OVER the RDA for vitamins and minerals, people who are active and specifically trying to build muscle and do resistance training may be able to intake more then just 1 gram of protein per pound on a normal maintain/bulk stage and maybe alot higher on a cut.

Id love to see some actual solid research on people who are not only active but have good nutrition AND do resistance training and see what intakes of protein it takes for them to start storing it as body fat.
