**Note: For my numbers I used
"A Unique Combination of Science and Experienced Pre-contest advice by Layne Norton" at the top of the page with the stats in my signature for my protein, carbohydrate, and fat intake**
Well I did my first week of my "cutting phase" and I don't see whats so "cutting" about it. I have never watched how much I eat and monitor my calories but already it feels like I was eating less before this. Here are my numbers:
- Calorie Intake = 2640 kCal
- Protein Intake = 360 grams (1.5 g/lb x 240) | 1440 kCal's
- Fat Intake = 76 grams (Used 25.5% of my daily calories) | 676 kCal's
- Carbohydrate Intake = 131.25 grams (rest of my daily calories)| 524.5 kCal's
I want to make sure my cutting phase is as successful as possible this summer (no I am not cutting for the girls I am doing this for myself, I would like to compete some day...) and if anyone could confirm or help me re-calculate my numbers it would be superb.
Last week I was monitoring what I ate per day, and with having to eat 360 grams of protein per day and little to no carbs (depending on the meal) and little fat... a few of my meals were just ground beef and a cup of milk, haha I just dont see whats so cutting about this phase.
Thanks in advance.
