Cottage Cheese. It has more natural nutritional benefits, isnt expensive, isnt liquid form, and even has some whey protein in it as well. The mixture of the two is better at staying full from research of protein shakes made strictly of whey and casein.

Casein protein powder is a hoax if you ask me. Drink milk, eat cottage cheese, call it a day.

Berries are a really good choice, fruit wise. Especially blueberries, but raspberries as well.

btw, you can make a crazy snack with that as well you know. Mix in a small amount of oats or something. Almonds, whatever. Nice little change here and there. I am still enjoying my daily serving of cottage cheese by itself.

But blueberries and raspberries are my first options if i need a change (and they are on hand, they are kinda expensive and strawberries are just weak and go bad too fast).

A small tub of cottage cheese typically has over 50 grams of protein in it. So, just a single tub.

The problem is its not worth the money. I really don't think you are gonna gain that much by doing casein before bed anyway if your total calories and everything for the day is solid. It's more of a safety measure IMHO.
