Personally, i would switch the times. Pre-workout, it can be optimal to couple whey with
casein protein so you have a slow-release of protein that can help you remain anabolic or at least anti-catabolic during training. Post workout, its beneficial to use whey protein as it was intended. By itself with a preferably fast-digest carb source that causes an insulin response with muscle glycogen replenishment as your main goal as well.
